Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who has been leaving an imprint on the tiny screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Soon after she was moving to Texas and completed her physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas just a few months prior to moving to Orlando Florida. She took part in a wide range of acting roles, including commercials and local independent movies. She quickly found her passion for the art of acting despite the small parts. She then moved to New York in 2001 and landed her very first acting job in the role of Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. There were minor roles in JAG The Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. Her first major part came in the year 2004, on the underrated dramatic The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain had the privilege of appearing alongside a number of the top TV stars, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch. Her best-known role was in Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. Her character received numerous nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. The year 2008 was the time she was awarded the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition to recognize Outstanding performances for a Dramatic Television Series. A short moment later De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was Marisol Deko as well as wife to David Caruso's character Horatio. She played the character Dr. Lena Solis, she appeared in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. It was eventually cancelled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She was born Italian with a 10 year old younger brother called Cory. She was raised in an environment that was strict and very spiritual. Milano began her acting career when she was seven years old after her babysitter accompanied her in an audition. She was one of four girls selected from among thousands of hopefuls. Milano was featured in commercials on television and off-Broadway and in the American musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
